1st Summit Arena @ The Cambria County War Memorial

The 1st Summit Arena @ Cambria County War Memorial, first opened its doors in October of 1950, since then it has hosted several different events of various types of shows. Currently, the arena is home to the Johnstown Tomahawks. Besides sporting events, the 1st Summit Arena has hosted several concerts and other forms of entertainment targeted to all age ranges. A few of the previous performers have included Larry the Cable Guy, Miranda Lambert, Sesame Street Live, Lipizzaner Stallions, Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus, Monster Truck shows, multiple Disney on Ice shows, and Michael W. Smith and several boxing events.

The arena is designed to accommodate everyone’s needs. The concourse level includes eight restrooms (4 Men’s, 4 Women’s), four water fountains, and an ATM machine. In addition to these facilities, the main concourse has eight in-house concession stands, which accept all major credit cards.
