The Dow Event Center is a multi-use entertainment venue. Built in 1972, The Dow Event Center was known for most of its history as the Saginaw Civic Center hosting OHL hockey in its arena and the various entertainment in the Heritage Theatre. It is located directly off I675 Highway along Johnson Street across from Huntington Event Park and hosts hundreds of entertainment, sport, cultural and educational opportunities annually. The venue provides spaces to meet the entertainment needs of the region for: concerts, Broadway theater shows, comedy shows, wedding receptions, sporting competitions, commencement and award ceremonies, conferences and expos.
