OVERVIEW:

In August 2014 SMG was awarded the contract manage the new U.S. Bank Stadium located in the heart of downtown Minneapolis. With approximately 65,000 (expandable to 73,000) seats in the Stadium bowl and over 93,000 sq. ft. on the Stadium floor, the venue will serve as center stage for prominent national and international programming including sporting events, concerts, family shows, conventions, general sessions, trade/consumer shows and other large special events. The Stadium emerges on the city skyline as a unique piece of sculpture, establishing itself as an iconic anchor to the cityscape. The western façade, with its five signature pivoting doors, creates a smooth transition between the natural and built environments. The transparent skin and roof structure further enhance this concept. With state of the art audio and visual technology elements, blackout curtain drapes, and numerous high end VIP spaces, the Stadium will set the standard for other venues across the globe.
